Make Peace, not War!

For the past few days, there were so much disagreement.. I've seen and learned so much from it..
Arguments commonly share this structure: a person regards the lack of evidence for one view as constituting proof that another view is true..There is no point fighting your way through sometimes, it is only gonna make things worse and uglier.. so, probably do it the other way round..Reverse Psychology..

I've heard of this:

Ignorance is Bliss! = What you don't know won't hurt you. =)
The actual wording, however, comes from Thomas Gray's poem, "Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College" (1742): "Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise."

SUMMARY

To overcome disagreement = One have to give in or just IGNORE ;p

My Housemate's fishy..Our Pet..My new Pet..hahaha!!

We always tease this Arowana fishy one..always say if we don't have food, we'll cook it as our dinner.. hahahaha!! ME and my housemate think that this lil fishy is very highly intelligent =).. Somehow it will recognize you and when you walk closer to the aquarium glass, it will somehow come to you.. =) Its nice to play with when you're kinda bored..hahaha!!

Life is painted ColoURfuLLy..

Well, for me, I guess my life is painted with very very interesting colors..both dull and bright colors.. it is colorful in a sense that it had brought me through many many tough moments, both happy and sad ones..and thru it all, i guess i grew up and learned a lot from these past experiencesssSSsss.. though sometimes it may hurt so bad..but I still thank God for these moments..

If I'm given a chance to erase memories, i would say "NO"..i would rather have them, learn from them, and not repeat the mistakes I've done, after all.. its part and parcel of our daily lives.. knowing the difference between matters that are right and wrong, how bad the situation may be..i will live with it =)

Besides, I am thankful for this opportunity to have a chance to leave KL and study in Singapore.. well, these experiences are not exchangeable for money..haha..it had taught me many things in life and the most distinctive one..is to learn how to be even more independent..living on your own..

And when I first got here, I slowly gotta adapt to the society here..people here are a little.. ahem..different !!.. well but more or less the same culture, not much difference from KL but i guess the major huge difference will be my lil world here with full of strangers..haha..I wouldn't call it scary but..instead i had the courage to face my everyday.. =) i came here myself living with strangers..even my house mates..they are ALL strangers..haha..

I always wonder how i pulled through those moments..haha.. Thank God.. =)

Yup! its church day! well it doesn't seem tat happy anymore compared to the times in KL..well..if u're going to church alone, taking 14 MRT stations alone and walking towards the new creation church where it seems like never-ending journey.. it's sad case i would say, but ya.. i heard from the LORD, it was on thithing - a tenth =) probably i should learn how to tithe with SING dollars now hahaha! Well, these words kept on ringing in my mind, "If you give, the LORD will Bless u even more.. You can NEVER out give GOD!" =)

After church, got an sms from one of my closest JIE.. she told me she will be here for a week!! happie happie me!!

Hehe..but she's not here yet..so..i was thinking who to call for dinner..din wanna be ALONE since my housemate wasn't free..

*TINK*..i got an idea who to call..and at last!!!..... i met up with my classmate, Ashley, she brought me to her place, Ang Mo Kio, whoa, it seems like a busy and happening place, people are just EVeryWhEre! i was there to get stamps, post my warranty card and not forgetting dinner.. but before that.. believe me, getting stamps was such a big hassle..we din know where to get them and there's this 'Canggih' Atm-like machine where you can get ur bills paid and even get stamps, so me and Ash was like..hmmm..probably we should give that machine a try, but as we were working on that "Canggih" machine, a second tot was..hmm.. DAMN complicated la!! so.. we decided to look for the manual way, where we purchase from HUMANS...hahahaha!! so, we went around Ang Mo Kio, from digital photo stores, to bookstore - Popular, to post office - CLOSE *sigh*, to finally, 7eleven where the stamps are sold IN 7eleven.. their stamps are like stickers ahahaha! i felt like a super 'Jakun' asking ppl how to post that stupid warranty card.. right after that, we went for dinner, ate one of the most famous 'kai fan' there - chicken rice! YUMMY and sooo delicious..haha.. probably i was tooo hungry or maybe i'm hungry recall-ing it..hahah!

After dinner, we went around the MRT station, search for the post box, drop my warranty card and *fuh.. its a relieve afterall the troubles.. like FINALLY??!!!... hahah..wanted to take bus home, cos there's a terminal next to the MRT..but couldn't find a bus that goes directly to my place..

In the end, i decided to take the Mrt.. =) then i walked home.. enjoying music all the way..

When I got home, wanted to fix the cupboard knob.. din have a screwdriver... so i went out again to get it.. near my place.. everything in Singapore is about walking ^^ after getting it, i din manage to get the screws out as well..sigh... felt so useless..how i wish there's someone to help!! =_( but its quite fun chatting with my dear online all night.. =)

hmm... tats all for now, i think i should drop my pen here for lunch! =) i'm gonna cook my lunch..I'm starving!!! hahaha! hope it will be a delicious one! ^^

Time seems to be moving so slowly when you're alone while when you're with someone, it will seem to move faster..

=) Miss those times being with friendssss... especially on sundayss!

Besides, thank God for music!!.. Music is my BEST friend now.. learn how to appreciate music even better! =)

Life in Kiasu-land...

Ever since i came to kiasu-land,

Everything changed..

NO CARR!!!!! arggghh!!

i've learned to
* Look into maps
* Going to places i've never been.. ALONE
* Go to the doctors when i'm ill
* Go church Alone
* Take public transportsss
* Shop Alone =)
* Look for a new place to rent
* Finding and looking out for furnitures and stuff for my new place
* Carrying really heavy stuff.. (building muscles) haha!! carrying luggages and paperbags after shoppings
* Take care of myself when i'm freaking SICK
* Be a maid ;p
* Enjoy studying although it can be stressful at times
* Walking on streets alone
* Asking ppl for directions (everyone! bus driver, strangers, taxi drivers and etc.)
* Sign all sorts of documents from house rental to bla bla bla all sorts of stupid documents
* Live life my own way
* Go out with a new bunch of friends
* Eat meals on my own

Can't think of any at this moment!

Realize i don't need anyone to live with anymore and in everything i do..i just need God by my side.. but will always be nice if there is someone to be with..

I know soon..everything will be ok.. i'm jus hanging in there ;) believing that, after every storm, there is a beautiful rainbow!

Life sucks without people around u.. but..i thank God for wonderful housemates.. they are the ones that can help u in times of need.. other than tat.. thank God for beautiful friends around and a funny hip hop cousin!

Tats all for now..now is PASTA time..!! haha i'm starving!! =)
